DUTIES OF A CHAPLAIN AT THE CENTRE.

Here at African Centre we believe and know that “A chaplain’s biggest gift is to be present and just listen.” Among other duties as listed below.

1. Spiritual Guidance
2. Assistance in emergency situations.
3. Conducting/Assisting Funerals.
4. Weddings.
5. Counseling.
6. Visitation.
7. Attending Functions.
8. Lead non-denominational religious services.
9. Suggest whom to contact for special needs.
10. Becoming YOUR Friend.

The nature and complexity of this Department require highly tuned leadership skills and experience. The Chaplains at ACT are well trained and always can take action without being impulsive and show consistency, fairness, and integrity in decision-making and ensuring compliance of policy and procedures.
